BIWizz and Keez do not sell the same thing, and that is the most important difference between them. Keez is an accounting firm: you pay a monthly subscription and get CECCAR-licensed accountants who keep your books and file your returns, plus their platform for documents. BIWizz is the software itself — you use it, your accountant uses it, or both of you in the same workspace, but the accounting work stays with the accountant you already have.
That is also where the price difference comes from, and it has to be read correctly: a Keez subscription includes a human accountant's hours, a BIWizz subscription does not. If you have no accountant and want to outsource everything, Keez solves a problem BIWizz does not. If you already have an accountant, or you are one, you would be paying Keez for something you already have.
Choose BIWizz if
- You already have an accountant or an accounting firm and want to keep them — BIWizz is the shared workspace you both work in: the client sees clean numbers without calling you, you stop re-keying what they sent on WhatsApp or email.
- You are an accountant and want to handle more companies with the same team: SAGA import, bulk document upload with automatic classification, account codings prepared for review, ANAF SPV sync, and reports that run across multiple companies at once instead of one by one.
- You want to ask about your own company data in Romanian — overdue invoices, collections, VAT — and get answers grounded in the data, with sources shown.
- Cost matters: ANAF SPV sync and invoicing are free on the Liber plan; the MCP connector and higher limits come with La Zi, RON 80/month.
Choose Keez if
- You have no accountant and do not want to find one — Keez gives you licensed accountants, not just software.
- You want someone to file your returns and be answerable for them. BIWizz helps prepare the information, but filing stays your and your accountant's responsibility.
- You prefer a single supplier for everything: bookkeeping, filings, advice and platform, on one monthly invoice.
- You need advice on specific tax situations — that takes a person, not software.

The difference that matters: software vs. service
The most common mistake when comparing the two is to put the prices side by side and conclude that one is several times more expensive. The correct comparison is different: with Keez you pay for software plus an accountant's work; with BIWizz you pay for the software only. Add your accountant's fee to BIWizz and the gap narrows considerably — and if you have no accountant at all, Keez can genuinely be cheaper than BIWizz plus an accounting firm.
The useful question is not "which is cheaper" but "do I want to keep my accountant or outsource entirely?". BIWizz is built on the assumption that you keep them: the business owner and the accountant work in the same space, on the same data, each with their own view.
What "AI" means in each product
Both use AI, but at different points in the flow. At Keez, the AI mostly sits on document processing: it reads an incoming document and proposes the coding, reducing manual work for their accountants. It is AI working for their team, and you see the result.
At BIWizz the AI sits in front of you: Wizzy works on your company data and answers questions asked in Romanian — "who owes me money more than 60 days out", "where do I stand on VAT this month" — then prepares concrete output: draft invoices, reports, reconciliations. Every action that changes something comes back to you for approval, with an audit trail.
Neither replaces an accountant's judgement. The difference is who has direct access to the assistant: with BIWizz, you do.
What BIWizz does not give you and Keez does
Worth saying plainly: BIWizz does not file your returns and does not give you an accountant. If nobody keeps your books today, a BIWizz subscription does not fix that — you still need an accountant, and that cost comes on top.
Likewise, for specific tax situations — a restructuring, an inspection, a borderline VAT question — you need a person who takes professional responsibility. That is exactly what Keez sells.
