eConta and BIWizz are the closest rivals in this list: both are built for the Romanian market, both connect to ANAF, and both use AI on documents. The main difference is the pricing model and the role the AI plays.
eConta sells mainly to practices, with a price per practice plus a price per client company and separate charges for AI-processed documents — the cost grows with your portfolio. BIWizz has a flat subscription per workspace with a set number of Wizzy questions included, and Wizzy is an assistant you hold a conversation with about the data, not just a document-reading engine.
Choose BIWizz if
- You want predictable cost: a flat subscription, with no per-document charge.
- You want to ask open questions about company data in Romanian and get reports, charts or draft invoices back.
- You work with companies whose books are kept in SAGA and want to import the Firebird database directly, without moving the client off their software.

Fixed cost, or cost that grows with the portfolio
The practical difference shows up at month end. With eConta you pay a practice subscription, plus an amount for each client company, plus charges for documents put through the AI. It is a model that starts cheap and grows with activity — sound in principle, but harder to budget when you hit a busy season.
With BIWizz the practice account is free however many companies you bring, and each company has its own plan — Liber, free, or a subscription its owner chooses — so the practice’s cost does not grow with the portfolio.
Which works out better depends on the shape of your portfolio. Ten high-volume companies usually favour the flat subscription. A handful of very small companies can favour per-company pricing.
AI that reads documents vs. AI you ask questions of
Both say "AI", but they solve different things. Document-processing AI pulls data out of a PDF and proposes the coding — useful, repetitive, measurable. BIWizz does that too, but it bets on something else: that you can ask about the company directly, in Romanian, without knowing which report to open.
Concretely: "show me clients more than 30 days overdue and draft a reminder" is a single sentence in BIWizz, with the result brought to you for approval. No action that changes data runs without your confirmation, and everything that happened stays in the audit log.
What early access means
Worth stating without hedging: eConta has more history in the practice segment than BIWizz, and if you pick a supplier on "how long have they been around", that is a real argument in their favour.
BIWizz is in early access. That means features change more often, there are fewer customers behind us, and your feedback shapes the product directly. For some that is an advantage; for others it is a risk. It depends how much you like being early.
