How do you give your practice’s clients business reports, not just the trial balance?

What a business owner wants from the accountant, how you prepare it once and how it goes out by itself, with your check.

Updated 18 September 2026

A business owner does not read the trial balance. Their questions are three: how much am I owed and by whom, which payments and deadlines are coming, what has ANAF asked me. A monthly report that answers exactly those, in plain language, with the figures from your own records, is the service a practice can offer on top of basic bookkeeping — and the one the client actually notices.

In BIWizz the practice works on the same data the client sees: SAGA (read through Bridge), bank statements, e-Factura and the SPV mailbox. Wizzy prepares the report for the ticked company, you check it, and then it goes to the client on the day and at the time you choose. Nothing leaves without your approval.

What the client actually wants from a report

The trial balance and the returns remain your obligation; the business report is what the client sees of your work. The shorter and more concrete it is, the more it gets read.

  • Receipts and overdue invoices: who is past due, by how much, and how much money is tied up with customers.
  • What is coming: payments and tax deadlines in the next 30 days.
  • What came from ANAF: new SPV messages, with the reply deadline.
  • A two-line conclusion, not a table of accounts.

How you prepare the report once

You tick the company and ask Wizzy, in Romanian: “How much did we collect this month versus last month, who is past due and what is ANAF asking us?”. The answer comes with figures from the statements, from SAGA and from SPV, with the source next to every number, and can be saved as Excel, PDF or Word.

  • You check the figures and fix the wording if needed.
  • You save the question as a scheduled report: the day and time it goes out.
  • The client receives the report and can open BIWizz at any time to ask further.
  • Scheduled reports are included from the company’s Fără Grijă plan; the practice account stays free.

The same report for many companies

You tick several companies and ask once; Wizzy answers for each one separately, with its own sources. For a portfolio of dozens of companies, the monthly report is no longer written dozens of times.

  • The same wording for every client, with each one’s figures.
  • The exceptions surface: companies with large overdue amounts or unanswered ANAF messages.
  • The client can check their own situation between reports, on the same data, without calling you.

What BIWizz does not do

  • It does not file returns and does not keep double-entry books: SAGA remains your program, BIWizz only reads it.
  • It sends nothing to the client or to ANAF without your approval.
  • Wizzy can be wrong; the figures carry their source precisely so you can check them.

How BIWizz helps you offer client reports

Bridge brings the companies in from SAGA without writing anything to it; the SPV mailbox of every company is read with your certificate; Wizzy answers for the ticked companies, sources in view, and prepares the report that goes to the client at the time you choose.

You remain the one who checks and signs. The practice does not pay: each company decides whether and when to move to a subscription.

Frequently asked questions

What does the practice pay for client reports?

The practice account is free, however many companies you bring. Each company has its own plan: on Liber, free, the client can ask Wizzy within limits; scheduled reports are included from the company’s Fără Grijă plan.

Does the client see the same figures as I do?

Yes. The business owner has their own access to the same data — receipts, invoices, documents, the ANAF mailbox — and can ask Wizzy directly, with the source next to the answer.

Can I send the report automatically without checking it every time?

The scheduled report goes out on the day and at the time you choose, with the question and format you checked at the start. You can stop or change it at any time; nothing is sent to ANAF in this flow.
